National Climate Change Forum 2009

The National Climate Change Forum (NCCF09) to be held in Sydney on the 4th and 5th of June 2009 to coincide with World Environment Day.

Whilst there are several industry conferences that have tried to tackle the issue of Climate Change, none have successfully brought together policy makers, scientists, industry leaders and consumer groups.

The two-day event will be held at Dockside, Sydney. Program highlights include keynote addresses and concurrent sessions on:

  • Australia’s Climate Change Challenge.
  • Current and Developing Policies and Practices.
  • The Australian Emissions Trading Scheme.
  • The Economics of Climate Change.
  • The Overseas Experience.
  • Industry Focus – impacts, risks and opportunities.

  • Why Attend?

We believe that there is a real need to provide a forum that allows stakeholders an opportunity to better understand the implications of the introduction of an emissions trading scheme for them, and to provide an environment where least cost solutions to Australia's climate change challenges can be found. The NCCF will provide you with that opportunity.
